HOWDY

I’m Kayla, an Illustrator and Designer with a passion for telling stories, creating charming characters, and buillding the worlds they live in!

I’m just a humble cowpoke from Texas, though I  currently reside in sunny Nevada. I have an Associates of Arts from Northwest Vista College, as well as my BFA in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design.

My work history is filled with a variety of magazine and editorial projects wherein I produced graphics and illustrations for print and digital media. I've designed characters and environments for various clients as well as world building concept art. I worked as a keyframe illustrator on the final season of FXX's Archer, too! Currently, I develop concepts and assets for games in the casino slots industry.

In my free time I LOVE playing Dungeons & Dragons and narrative, cozy video games. I've spent years running an online shop designing and producing handmade stickers, pins, and art prints, as well! I'm a certified scuba diver, trained ceramicist (though I admit it's been a hot minute since I sat down at a pottery wheel), and am known to make a mean pot of soup.
